Last weekend, our family hosted a farewell party at our place for one of Julian’s ex-classmates, Mioko, who was returning to Japan for good this week. Everyone was excited as their N1 teachers from the previous year, Ms. Sabrina and Ding Laoshi, were supposed to join us. Unfortunately, they could not make it at the last minutes but we still had a whopping crowd of 6 families that came – 11 adults and 9 children to be exact! And all the kids had such a roaring good time that when the party finally ended, they were reluctant to bid each other, and of course, especially Mioko, sayonara.
